Welcome to the Norton Animal Hospital Website.

The staff at Norton Animal Hospital strives to provide superior medical and surgical care as well as outstanding client service with compassion and dignity. We couple this with a truly caring attitude and a friendly, knowledgeable staff that wants to keep your pet healthy and safe. We continuously strive to develop a culture where by those we serve experience fairness and respect in their relations with our organization. Our staff veterinarians see a variety of pets, including cats and dogs, as well as reptiles, birds, and small exotic mammals.
Our vision is to form, meaningful, supportive and rewarding relationships with each other, commited pet owners, and the community, to celebrate the bond we share with animals.
Since 1973 the hospital has been providing complete health care from:
*Physical Exams - A comprehensive physical exam evaluating the 12 body systems such as eyes, ears, mouth, heart, lungs, muscles, nerves, and skin.
*Vaccinations - tailored to your pet's needs and lifestyle
*Comprehensive dentistry - under anesthesia we are able to fully evaluate your pet's gums, tongue, tonsils and teeth more accurately. Did you know that 85% of all cats and dogs over the age of 3 years have some form of dental disease? We perform dental x-rays to evaluate the tooth roots for any abnormalities. We are able to perform complex extractions of diseased teeth if needed.
*Surgery - We have state of the art surgical equipment and monitoring for all our patients undergoing surgery, from spays and neuters to more complex surgeries such as tumor removals and orthopedics. In order to keep your pet comfortable after a surgical procedure we provide them with a pain management package tailored specifically to their needs.
*Diagnostics - If your pet is sick we can perform digital x-rays,and complete blood work right in our own laboratory. We also can send out more specialized testing to our reference laboratory.
*Ultrasound - We have a specialist that comes in every Monday to perform our ultrasounds and echocardiograms.

We understand that your pet holds a valued place in your life and your heart so we have made it our goal to respect and honor that special bond by providing the best possible care for your pet. As part of that goal, we have chosen to be accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) and have our hospital measured against the most rigorous published standards in the veterinary industry.

Please let us know how we can better service your pet's needs!
